OWP Announces the Signing of Lonna for Deer, Jane

Lonna has been writing silly love stories her whole life, finding inspiration in just about everything the world has to offer, but especially from nature. “Brain candy” is how she refers to her style of writing, stating, “I know it’s not Shakespeare, but it makes my mind happy.” Lonna is married to a United States Marine, and together they are raising a “dogter,” a pug named Dixie Doo. They live wherever Uncle Sam decides to send them.
About Deer, Jane
Jane Doe is a voluptuous nineteen year old woman who is about to graduate from high school. She’s rather older than most of her peers because, as a small child, she was found orphaned in the cold Shenandoah woods. As an adult, having been raised in the Virginia foster system, she’s ready for the next step of her tumultuous life if only she could get through the last few months of school. But she meets a man who changes everything about who she is, literally. Just his presence has awakened a power Jane didn’t know she possessed; she is able to shape-shift. Instead of turning into a predator of sorts, she morphs into a deer, which is unheard of in the shape-shifter world. It’s a tiny world, but she finds that Radulf, the man who sparked her transformation, is a wolf. Their magnetic attraction begins to make sense once they figure out each other’s secrets. The relationship Jane has with Radulf is filled with intense lust and complicated emotions, and meanwhile, someone else she is getting close to, someone she figures is just a great friend, turns out to be something more than human as well. But because he’s neither human nor animal, Jane and Radulf find themselves on the run.
